PCOS Doesn't Have To Control Your Life
If you've been looking for a way to manage your PCOS symptoms without being forced onto the pill or taking other extreme measures - let us show you the protocol we've been rolling out with our clients to help them design a sustainable lifestyle which is geared towards PCOS management without using the pill or other unnecessary extremes.
Millions of women suffer from polycystic ovarian syndrome and the symptoms can be incredibly frustrating and embarrassing. If you are one of those women. You know how hard it is to find information about nutrition and training that actually helps. You've probably tried every diet out there only to find that yo-yo back and forth between weight loss and weight gain or barely making any progress at all.
Our PCOS program is different. We specialise in coaching women with P O S through their own individualised program. We'll help you set boundaries. Eat healthy foods at a PCOS friendly and get the training that you need to feel strong and confident in your body. Again, I've been managing my own PCOS and I'm living proof that you can achieve these things for yourself too.
Now we've actually created a program and so we can show you how.
Hi, my name’s Emma.
My interest in health, fitness and the human body peaked in my late teens as I came up through the athlete system as a rower. I loved how much I could challenge my body and push myself to new limits every week. However, it didn't come without complications; physically, mentally and emotionally.
Being diagnosed with PCOS meant that I was pushed onto the pill as a way to "manage" my cycle to help with "menstrual regularity" during rowing. However, being on the pill did not manage any of my other related symptoms like anxiety, disordered eating, acne and aggressive skin flare ups. And still didn't give me much assistance with managing my cycle overall.
Through my rowing career I studied a Bachelor of Science (majoring in physiology), became a qualified Personal Trainer and was then presented with two main options for Post-Graduate study; either Physiotherapy or Nutrition & Dietetics.
At this point, my biggest knowledge gap was managing food and nutrition. Even as an athlete, this was a huge (and later, quite debilitating) knowledge gap for me. I didn't know how to eat when I wasn't competing and it drove me into a vortex of unhealthy behaviours and massive, uncontrollable body compositional changes.
I didn't have the immediate support around me to seek help and answers. So, instead, I educated myself. I studied a 2 year Masters in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics.
It was a long and expensive process. However, it was driven from the comfort of knowing that I could create a healthier, happier life for myself. And to have the ability to help others through similar issues - be it in PCOS & hormonal health management, binge and disordered eating patterns, body compositional transformations, or strength & performance output. To be able to support, coach and educate them with my ever-expanding skillset.
Because there is HELP out there, you don't need to do it alone, and we've created this program to give you the tools and support you need to do it in a much shorter amount of time.
You deserve it
